Community Grants

ASCC awards grants to local organizations that support activities and projects dedicated to improving our community. If you are interested in applying for a grant, please see the process on how to apply below.

Requirements

The applicant, parent/guardian or another person in the organization who is directly responsible for receiving the grant must be an active member of the ASCC with a membership in good standing and have at least five hours of volunteer service towards the ASCC events, store or otherwise. 

We recommend a minimum of 16 volunteer hours per team or 2 hours per person benefitting the ASCC or have the volunteer work scheduled prior to applying for a community grant.   Example:  This means if you have 8 volunteers, each volunteer is recommended to volunteer a minimum of 2 hours each for a total of 16 volunteer hours.  Any additional volunteer hours would be greatly appreciated.

How to Apply

If your organization is in need of financial support, we encourage you to apply for a community grant today. Download the community grant application below and email the completed application to welfare@asccbavaria.com. Grant applications must be completed in full and received no less than 45 days in advance of the date funds are needed.

Each community grant request MUST include the proper authorizations. If requesting funds from an MWR organization, the MWR Commander or Deputy Commander’s signature is required. Otherwise, Unit, Clinic Commander’s, or the President’s signature is required. If the request is from DoDDS, signatures from the PTSA/PTA/PTO President and Principal are required.
